TOWARDS A BETTER WORLD
Sustainability has always been a value pursued by Gommatex and now part of our DNA.
A path that translated into a strategy aligned with the demands of the UN, which indicated that we should fall within these 4 parameters. So we began a process of integration between corporate and sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), identifying those most impacted by our activities. These are the 4 “Priority Goals,” the 4 main SDGs directly related to the corporate goals that we are committed to developing in our business strategy and in each sustainability program.
To make the integration between corporate objectives and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) more effective, we have identified the Sustainable Development objectives that are most impacted by our activities.
4 “Priority Goals” emerged, the 4 main SDGs directly connected to the corporate objectives that we are committed to developing in our business strategy and in every sustainability program.

This path also passes through the adoption of important certifications that are concrete proof that we operate in perfect harmony with the principles of sustainability and excellence:
1/ The Global Organic Textile Standard, or GOTS, is an international standard for textiles made from organic fibers. This standard not only guarantees respect for fair working conditions and environmental protection, but also certifies that the finished products are safe for the health of users. It also ensures that the textiles selected meet high quality standards and come from a controlled and transparent supply chain. A commitment to sustainability and traceability.
